Pat O’Brien has painted murals, faux treatments and original painting in oil and acrylic in both commercial and residential settings. Painting has been a creative outlet throughout her life, though she did not begin her artistic career until 1997.
She holds a degree in electrical engineering and is a self-taught artist. This form of training has permitted her much freedom to experiment and explore her own path when creating objects of art. Concise, clean and exacting lines in her work are a result of her technical background. Her appreciation for nature is often depicted in her work. She enjoys experimenting with subject matter, media and style, which results in a diverse body of work. Her painting has been published in books and local news media, exhibited at galleries, decorator show houses, and auctions in the Baltimore area. |
